    Visionary, Builder, Leader

    Women’s history month is almost over, but we couldn’t allow the month to closeout without acknowledging one of our favorite visionaries, Dr. Temple Grandin.

    Dr. Grandin is оnе оf thе world’s most well-known adults living wіth Autism. Her accomplishments have been an inspiration.

    Dr. Gradin was born August 29, 1945. At the age of four she was diagnosed with  Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism characterized by higher than average intellectual ability coupled with impaired social skills and restrictive, repetitive patterns of interest and activities. In addition to being a spokesperson for people living with Autism, she is an American professor of Animal Science at Colorado State University and she is a animal behavior consultant for the Livestock industry. Of all of Dr. Grandin’s accomplishments her work with the livestock industry is what makes her our favorite. Continue reading
